The Scholarship Coach

Coach Marsee Waddell
I have been an educator for the last two decades. During this time, I’ve worked with countless students, from various walks of life and age: ranging from middle school to higher education. I constantly hear the same complaint and question from parents and students regarding the astronomically high-price of college and ways to find funds to sponsor college. Unfortunately, a large reason for this stress is the misconceptions people have about college funding. Generally, parents assume that it takes a lot of time to find funding, or student needs a high GPA and/or ACT scores to secure such funds. Furthermore, a lot of parents think that they earn too much money for their kids to qualify for scholarships. But all these are big myths which prevent parents from exploring scholarship and fellowship options to fund their child’s education.
For last few years, I have been successfully teaching a class where scholarships and getting funding for college is the main focus. Every Year, I help students earn millions dollars in scholarships. Last year, I helped my students earn over 8 million dollars in scholarship including some coveted scholarships namely The Gates Millennium scholarship, The Ron Brown scholarship, The Horatio Alger scholarship, General Mills, Unigo scholarships, Courage to grow scholarship and many, many local scholarships and funds from colleges and programs. I believe that lack of funds should not be a reason to stop a child from pursuing his/her dream of college education. To bring my beliefs to fruition, in addition to my class, I also run a successful scholarship coaching business. A personal scholarship coach can help you save time, energy, stress and money.
You won’t need to spend hours on scholarship search engines because I have already done the research. I know where to find the unknown scholarships that no one typically looks. I have a massive amount of scholarships that I not only provide to my clients, but I also help assist in the writing and editing also. On average, my clients spend six hours a week on the scholarship process, which includes the time for our sessions.
I am totally dedicated to the cause of “Helping people help themselves.” I want to be able to take away financial stresses that students, parents and caregivers suffer through in this process. I’ve learned that one on one coaching is the most affordable and easiest route to take when helping anyone reach their goal.
